Is the K Line the same as the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project?
The Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project was the construction project that built the K Line. To find out more about the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, visit metro.net/crenshaw.
Which K Line stations will be opening October 7, 2022?
While the rail line includes eight new stations, only seven will open October 7, 2022 as part of the K Line’s initial operating segment. The operating stations will run from Expo/Crenshaw Station at the north end of the alignment to Westchester/Veterans Station at the south end.

How do I connect to the K Line from the Metro E Line (Expo)?
The K Line will connect to the Metro E Line (Expo) at Expo/Crenshaw Station. You will need to exit the E Line (Expo) Expo/Crenshaw Station and cross the street to enter the new K Line Expo/Crenshaw Station.
How do I connect to the Metro C Line (Green) from the K Line?
During the initial operating of the K Line and until the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station platform has been completed, the C & K Line Link is providing free bus service between Westchester/Veterans Station (K Line) and C Line Aviation/LAX Station, and runs on the same schedule and frequency as trains.
When will the K Line Aviation/Century Station open?
The new K Line Aviation/Century Station will not be served by trains or bus service until full line operations begin in 2024, once the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station platform has been completed.
When will the K Line LAX/Metro Transit Center Station open?
The new K Line Aviation/Century Station will not be served by trains or bus service until full line operations begin in 2023 (projected), once the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station platform has been completed.
When will the K Line LAX/Metro Transit Center Station connect to the LAX People Mover?
The LAX People Mover is projected to open in 2023 and will connect to the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station once the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station is operational in 2024.
